ABOUT THE BOOK
Peace Valley Park is truly the gem of Bucks County, Pennsylvania. No matter the season, you can find an abundance of native plants and a wide variety of birds, wildlife, turtles, and fish. I have always been a nature lover, and being out in the park feeds my soul and makes my heart happy. After my retirement, I began to spend more time there and thought how great it would be to get a shot of each living thing at the park. I soon realized that this was a huge undertaking and would take time and research. I began with birds and my fascination with the blue heron and the bald eagle. From there it branched out and grew into the book you are now holding. This is not all that inhabits the park, but I’m still trying every day. My hope is that it will be a teaching tool for all who love our area and photography as I do. The photos have not been labeled to encourage research, discussion, and learning.
